OpenUTAU (known in the community as "OU") is a free and open-source software for singing synthesis, developed as a modern and community-driven alternative to the original UTAU. It allows users to create music using voicebanks (vocal libraries) based on human voice samples, with precise control over vocal expression parameters.
Despite OpenUTAU being focused on UTAU, it also supports other voice synthesizer formats, such as DiffSinger.

In this guide, we will be teaching the basics of OpenUTAU, how to install it, and some of the main functions of the software focused on DiffSinger.
